GENERAL QUESTIONS
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
General PCB Manufacturing
Q: What types of PCBs do you manufacture?
We manufacture single-sided, double-sided in house and can offer multilayer PCBs, including high-density interconnect (HDI), flexible, and rigid-flex boards.
Q: What materials do you use for PCBs?
Standard boards use FR4, but we also offer Rogers, polyimide, aluminum, and other specialty substrates depending on your application.
Q: What is your standard PCB thickness?
Typical thickness is 1.6 mm, but we support a range from 0.4 mm to 3.2 mm. Custom thicknesses are available on request.
Q: What copper weights are available?
Standard copper thickness is 1 oz (35 µm), with options up to 3 oz for high-current applications in house. With higher copper weights offered by our family of external suppliers we can access.
File Preparation & Submission
Q: What files do I need to submit for PCB fabrication?
We require Gerber files in RS-274X format, a drill file (Excellon format), and a README or fabrication notes. A BOM and pick-and-place file are needed for assembly.
Q: How do I export Gerber files from my design software?
Most PCB design tools (e.g., KiCAD, Altium, DesignSpark) have a “Fabrication Output” or “Plot” function. Be sure to select RS-274X format and include all layers: copper, solder mask, silkscreen, outline, and drill.
Q: Can you help verify my files before production?
Yes. We offer a free design review and Gerber file check to ensure manufacturability and avoid delays.
PCB Quality & Testing
Q: Do you perform electrical testing?
Yes. Som boards can be so simple that wouldnt warrant tesing. So we prefer to test and can offer 100% electrical testing for all boards and quote accordingly at time of quoting..
Q: What standards do you follow?
We comply with IPC-A-600 and IPC-A-610 standards for PCB fabrication and assembly quality.
Q: Are you UL Under Writers laboratory approved?
Yes we have full UL Approval :- Full Underwriters Laboratory approval. see our UL Approval page click here.
Q: Can you provide certificates of conformity or inspection reports?
Absolutely. These are available upon request and can be included with your shipment.
Lead Times & Delivery
Q: What are your standard lead times?
Typical lead time is 10 working days for fabrication with quicker turnarounds offered with an extra cost . Assembly adds more time to the fianl manucture from days to weeks dependant on the service required and complexity.
Q: Do you offer express or prototype services?
Yes. We offer fast-turn prototyping with lead times as short as 24–72 hours.
Q: Can you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship globally using trusted carriers and offer tracked delivery options.
PCB Assembly
Q: Do you offer component sourcing?
Yes. We can source components from authorized distributors or use consigned parts provided by you.
Q: What assembly services do you provide?
We offer SMT, PTH, mixed technology, reflow soldering, wave soldering, and hand soldering.
Q: Can you assemble BGA and fine-pitch components?
Yes. We have the capability to handle BGAs, QFNs, and other fine-pitch packages with X-ray inspection available.
Support & Custom Requests
Q: Can you help with design modifications or DFM feedback?
Yes. Our engineering team provides design-for-manufacturability (DFM) feedback and layout suggestions.
Q: Do you offer conformal coating or potting?
Yes. These services are available for boards requiring environmental protection.
Q: How do I get a quote?
You can submit your Gerber files and BOM via our online form or email. We’ll respond with a detailed quote within 24 hours.
