BGA Placement & Reflow
Quartz TSL have SMT placement equipment specialising in the placement and re-flow of BGA’s (Ball Grid Array). Each BGA component is always checked before assembly to ensure consistent placement. Quartz TSL have the ability to place these devices automatically using our Phillips Topaz and Topaz X machines. Ensuring the highest standards required for consistent high quality placement. We can offer a 100% inspection if required and partial sample batch inspection using x-ray inspection. Our techniques have been verified via third party x-ray inspection of our re-flowed BGA assemblies, confirming a high quality finish.
